IDEA Awards

IDEA recognizes community members who enrich the alliance and leave a lasting impact. Award recipients are announced at the IDEA annual meeting.

Established in 2011, the Faculty Excellence Award recognizes a significant contribution of faculty in an IDEA academic program. Award winners devote time, energy, and resources to enhancing the alliance's academic community. Faculty Excellence Award recipients develop creative courses and mentoring programs or make a significant impact on teaching in an IDEA program. View past award recipients.

Established in 2024, the Staff Excellence Award exists to spotlight the talents, dedication, and professionalism that IDEA staff bring to their work and to celebrate the rich diversity of contributions that are foundational to our excellence as an alliance.

Established in 2006, the Friend of the IDEA honors individuals who make a significant contribution to the alliance. Friend award winners strengthen the structure, improve operations, develop new processes, and increase the visibility of the alliance. Friends of IDEA demonstrate exceptional leadership and play a pivotal role in the alliance. View past award recipients
