Biography

Allison Hepworth is an assistant professor of nutritional sciences at Oklahoma State University. Previously, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in early childhood prevention research at the University of Maryland School of Social Work and earned her Ph.D., master's, and bachelor's degrees in human development and family studies at Penn State.

In her current role at Oklahoma State, Hepworth is responsible for designing and delivering nutritional sciences courses, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and leading her own original research projects on how parenting during infancy affects childhood obesity risk and promoting antiracism in digital food media.
