James Wright

James Wright is an associate teaching professor for the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at Iowa State University. He is a member of the safety focus faculty at ISU. Before returning to Iowa State, he served as an assistant vice president for administration at the University of Texas.

In academia and industry, Wright has provided leadership in national safety, health, and risk-management related associations. He has assisted the Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association; the National Safety Council; the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering; and the American Society of Safety Professionals.
