Biography

In 2015, Karen Alexander was awarded the President's Mid-Career Faculty Award from the President's Office at Texas Tech University. Alexander was also nominated for this award in 2014. In 2016, she was a COHS Nominee for the Chancellor's Council Distinguished Teaching Award from the Texas Tech University Chancellor's Council. In 2016 and 2017, Alexander was a College of Human Sciences Nominee for the Minnie Stevens Piper Professor Award from the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation. Nominated in 2016, Alexander received the Chancellor's Council Distinguished Teaching Award from Texas Tech Univerisity's Chancellor's Council in 2017.
