Nicholas Marchello

Nick Marchello is a registered dietitian and assistant professor who has taught classes for the University of Kansas Medical Center’s Department of Dietetics and Nutrition since 2017. A recent graduate of the University of Kansas Medical Center doctoral program in medical nutrition science, Marchello has several years of acute inpatient and outpatient care, and experience teaching students from undergraduates to doctoral candidates.

Marchello's research interests include nutrition literacy levels across multiple populations, nutrition messaging, community-based interventions in rural populations, weight loss/maintenance, and interprofessional education development.
