Biography

Tricia Neppl is an associate professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Iowa State University. She did her postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute for Social and Behavioral Research at ISU from 1997-1999.

Neppl is the director of a 3-generation study of rural Iowa families that began in 1989. Her program of research focuses on four areas of individual and family stress: intergenerational transmission of parenting and behavior, stress within interpersonal relationships, economic stress and consequences for development, and resilience to family stress.
