When you visit Morrill Hall, the University of Nebraska (UNL) State Museum housing natural history exhibits, rub the foot of Archie, a bronze, 16-foot high sculptured mammoth. Mammoths roamed the UNL campus 10,000 years ago, and mammoth bones have been found 100 yards from Morrill Hall.
